Water is an absolute necessity of life.
We drink it, we cook with it, we clean with it, and we bathe in it. By definition, pure water is transparent, odorless, and tasteless, but in a polluted world finding pure water is becoming more and more difficult. From the time a tiny raindrop falls from the clouds it begins soaking up pollution, gathering dirt and dust from the air. Once it reaches the ground, it collects magnesium, dissolved calcium, and other minerals. It may also absorb pesticides, bacteria, and anything else it may come across. By the time the water comes through our faucets it is generally hard, making it a much poorer quality. It does not taste the same in beverages and food, leaves a film on dishes, scum rings in the bath tub, and laundered clothes stiff. This hardened water is also more costly than purer water, as deposits decrease the life expectancy of water heaters, plumbing and dishwashers. A water filtration system eliminates all of the above.
